I recently met up with a successful career entrepreneur named Jim Carrillo, he helped develop a technology called Blue Marquee Technology (learn more: click here ) which helped create one of his current projects, called the ” Free Public Wifi Project” I’ve included an excerpt from his site below:

“The Public Wi-Fi Project was created in 2004 with our first community programs in Hampton VA and Morgan Hill CA. Since then, we’ve helped communities from Spain to Australia implement low to no cost community Wi-Fi programs. We were told that implementing a community Wi-Fi programs was too expensive. That it wouldn’t be cost effective for the community or technology companies. We’ve proven that wrong many times over. Most of the communities we’ve helped implement actually generate profits from their free internet projects.”
